In his 45 years experience, Chris Langley has obtained qualification in all facets of pest control, specialising in the last 27 years on termite risk management. He was part of a research team for 5 years headed by Mr Phil Hadlington (retired Entomologist for NSW Forestry) that promoted changes in principles of termite management in the early 1990's and Chris instigated use of detection devices such as the moisture meter and optical borescope, now widely employed by industry and recommended by Australian Standards.

Chris's expertise has been invaluable as a technical service provider on new building termite management disputes to the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC formaly QBSA) and as an expert witness in specialist termite litigation at Consumer & Commercial Tribunals and termite management systems patent litigation at law courts.

After some 18 years studying and trading in all facets of pest management in NSW. Chris, established in south-east Queensland for the past 17 years was a member of the Industry Training and Advisory Board, obtained T.A.F.E. qualification to Cert. III in Pest Management and Cert. IV in Training and Assessment, Chris holds a current Qld. Pest Controller Licence no: 11219 and also was a facilitator to Qld. BIT-TAFE. He has co-wrote the Qld. OLI-TAFE course on Timber Pests and while being based on the Gold Coast, has consulted in other states and overseas on varied termite problems.

Fully licensed and qualified in all aspects of termite biology, technical support, training and assessment, has allowed Chris the unique position within the pest control industry to provide independant an impartial Expertise and Consultancy services to the public, Government bodies and the legal profession, providing advice as an Industry Advocate to the public whilst offering investigation services and reports on termite dispute notifications, termite inspections, new and existing building termite risk management systems/treatments.
